Armstrong HS 1850 unlocked unknown possibilities for me. All the training and all the freezing time on the water during whole winter took me to my very personal summit in Wingsurfing: surfing "waves" at my shallow lake homespot (average waterdepth: 1 meter 🧐👌), turning and connecting them and have the time of my live in the middle of continental Europe! 🏄

I was jealous of all you wingsurfers surfing on ocean swell, perfect waves and downwinders but now i have my own personal surf spot and i love it. i am not the best surfer and i am not located on the best spot for surf style Wingsurfing but i make the best out of it, sharing the stoke with all u Wingers out there🤟.

Using smaller and smaller boards (bought smaller boards every two weeks, now own 5 🤸‍🤪🙉 ) practicing dockstart (not sucessfull till now 😉 ) and Winging up to 5 hours in one session without a break (thanks to a harness) was all part of the preperation. I have broken 3 Wingfoilboards and 5 Wingy Wings (were able to repair 4 out of the 5 wingy wings 😉 ), lost my new Wingy Wings 2 times when on the Water (that was the most scary over all in cold water conditions), ive outgrown 1 foil set till the Armstrong Setup came to my feet and that changed a lot 😉.
It opend up unreal performance glide and speed to me while maintaining carvebility and a surfy turning feel , have to say: first session on this foil felt like start again from zero but you need patience in this sport 😉

MY NEXT CHALLANGE: Wingsurfing a 3’6” board with 16 liter volume on the Armstrong HS 1850.
