The question asked here was- If Om Swami could talk about the Nath yogis who come across as very kind and at times very short-tempered.

Om Swami says that since part of his lineage is linked to the Nath parampara, he is able to shed light on it. Matsyendranath who is considered the incarnation of lord Vishnu started the Nath parampara. Gorakshnath (the result from the holy ash given to a woman, by Matsyendranath )came out of the compost pit as a twelve-year-old. He was trained under Matsyendranath and later sent to do tapas in the Himalayas. With him the Nath parampara went ahead. Nath yogis are supposed to live only where their gurus live or they are supposed to be roaming around without having their own dwellings says Om Swami.
