INGOLSTADT. Tour to the best places to see for a trip into the town. (Germany)

Welcome back to a new video. For the first day in 2024 with a pure blue sky I thought a trip to the town Ingolstadt is the best. Ingolstadt is famous for more things, like its location, its city center both the castle and more. Find out more in my video what is like to visit a town with history, city life and relaxing.

The tour to the best places to see at Ingolstadt:
On a sunny day at the end of January 2024 I visited the town Ingolstadt. Personally, I knew the town from some other stays at the past but the region on the river Donau is to every time a reason to came back. I start my tour at the Castle/Residence and visited the huge inner courtyard. There are for many years two rows of historic cannons. The cannons were in service in many battles and wars like in time of the dynasty of the French empire Napoleon. At next I spent some time in the main shopping street which has its start at the castle and end at the Muenster or cathedral. I went inside and had a nice light experience into the windows. This gothic Muenster is also a building where the town is known by the tourists as well. My next stop was the old major house. The bad surprise was that the new major house was built by a terrible architecture. The good this was that everyone can seat in a coffee outside for relaxing. At next I went to the Viktualienmarkt. There I spent some time and walked via the city theatre to the river Donau. There I had a nice view to the city center of Ingolstadt both the castle. I had a kind of luck to experience Ingolstadt at a sunny day with a true-blue sky.

About Ingolstadt:
Ingolstadt is a town loceated nearly at the middle part of the federal stat Bavaria at the river Donau. The city has a population of 140.398 according to 2023 and is famous from the historic side of the castle/residence which include a museum with different kind of guns from the past of Bavarian wars both the time of the French empire Napoleon. Also, the cannons at the inner patio coming still from the French monarch. From the industry side Ingolstadt is famous for its car company called “Audi”. The company is based at a huge factory and production center behind the town and self its car in Europe and the world. According that the Donau walley has a high number of raw materials especially in fuel is the town also known to produce fuel like Diesel, Benzin for aviation of planes. For the culture and events its happen a huge theatre at the river Donau for nearly every weekend both under the week e event or concert are organized. At the main station the trains depart to the north part of Germany like Hamburg and Berlin and to the south part to Munich. One of the oldest buildings of the city is the Munster of cathedral. The true name of this Munster is “Liebfrauenmünster”, in german languarge. Come for yourself to Ingolstadt and find out more.
