My Red Cabbage Soup Diet Recipe

Makes 4 to 6 serves
Preparation time: 10 to 15 minutes
Cooking time: 30 to 40 minutes

What you will need:

½ a Red Cabbage
1 Carrot
1 Zucchini
2 stalks Celery (You can include leaves)
1 Onion
8 cups Pure Water (Filtered)
1 cup Tomato Sauce (Italian)
1 Stock Cube (Vegetable)

Optional Extras (To your taste, added after the soup is ready to eat):

Himalayan Salt
Black Pepper
Cayenne Pepper

Preparation and Cooking:

Wash Cabbage, Carrot, Zucchini, Celery and remove outer of the Onion. Cut tops and bottoms off the Carrot, Zucchini and Celery. Chop or slice all vegetables approximately ¼" thick and 1" in length. Pour Water and Tomato Sauce into a large pot and place on stove top. Add chopped vegetables and Stock Cube to Water and Tomato Sauce and simmer over a low heat for about 30 minutes. At this time I do a taste test to see if the vegetables are soft. If not soft, cook a little longer and check again. If it is ready, this is the time I add any or all the Optional Extras.

Serve up and enjoy!
