Akhlaq Ahmad is the fourth generation owner and artisan craftsman at Peshawar, which remains a family-run business today. He works under the supervision of his father Khadim Hussain, and 20 other craftsmen bringing a 115 -year-old tradition to the world.

Copper Craftsmanship is a traditional folk art demanding certain skills, hands & time for the production of artefacts. In today’s fast paced digital world, people still demand practical artefact made with hands. However, there is an immediate urgency to promote, support & facilitate the preservation and sustenance of a century old skill by the government & world - renowned cultural organizations.

It is an honor to bring forth & share the recent contribution of Afghan Metal Market in commercial projects including Islamabad International Airport & Dubai Expo 2020.
