My Pit Boss pellet grill kept giving me an ERL error code. So I finally decided to learn how to replace the RTD temperature probe. It actually wasn't as hard as you think, not to mention, the RTD temperature probe isn't as expensive to replace as you might think.

If your grill isn't consistent in temperature, keeps cutting off, or giving you an ERL error code, then it may be time to replace yours.
