Hey everyone! It’s been a hot minute since I last posted, but I’m finally back on YouTube and ready to share my journey with you all. In case you’re new here, my name is Zipporah Ongera and welcome to my channel! 🌟

In this video, I’m diving straight into the big question: Where have I been for the past 8 months? The truth is, I needed a break from YouTube to rediscover myself. I’ve been everywhere apart from YouTube, taking time for self-love, self-soothing, and focusing on my mental health. It’s been a period of immense growth and learning, and I’ve come back feeling more confident and rejuvenated.

I also talk about why I stepped back from YouTube. It started feeling more like a chore than something I enjoyed. I was losing my voice in the videos and realized I needed to regain my bubbly, happy self. I wanted to overshare for views but ended up with lots of unpublished vlogs because I needed to keep parts of my life private. I’ve accepted that it's okay to hold onto those intimate parts of myself.

Life Updates:

Lost 10kgs in 3 months by hitting the gym. Feeling lighter and healthier! 🏋️‍♀️

-Attended several disability events, gaining invaluable insights and experiences.
-Finally went on a girls' lunch date—so fun and exciting! 🥂
-Bought a smart watch I didn’t really need, but hey, you live and learn! ⌚️
-Had a lovely cousin’s lunch date, appreciating the small moments in life. 🍽️
-Went on my first solo date—what an adventure! 🥰
-Tried Pilates and wow, it’s no joke! Respect to all the Pilates enthusiasts out there. 🙌
-Fell in love with talking to myself and embracing my own company. 🗣️💕
