We compared a ECHO vs NNVT 5 in a similar specs to get a general idea of how they perform. Not a perfectly fair comparison. We used ACTinBlack lens for ECHO and Caron Industries lenses for NNVT.

We found out that NNVT is very capable and it perform better than ECHO in the deep wood. Most NNVT have higher average gain than WP ECHO. We also found out that NNVT have a different gating frequency would could be captured by camera but not to naked eye. However, sometimes ECHO would flash too.
