Nio Hits 800 Highway Swap Stations, 1/3 Support Pilot Swap

About one-third of these stations support Power Swap on Pilot (PSP). Nio added two new stations today, bringing the total to 800. Of these, 675 are at highway service areas, and 125 are near highway entrances and exits.

The PSP feature allows Nio vehicles to autonomously drive from the main road to a service area, complete a battery swap, and return to the highway. This feature was introduced in a software update on November 15, 2023.

Nio has 2,420 battery swap stations in China and 43 in Europe, with 15 in Germany. At Nio Day 2023, Nio unveiled its fourth-generation battery swap station and plans to add 1,000 more stations in China in 2024, aiming for a total of over 3,310 stations.

Nio also added three supercharging stations today, bringing the total to 2,260, with 10,334 superchargers. Additionally, it has 1,590 destination charging stations with 12,166 destination charging piles. Nio's charging network includes 407 highway stations with 1,638 charging piles and access to over 1 million third-party charging piles.
