Ingredients: (1 cup= 200ml)
Rice - 1 cup
Toor dal - 1/2 cup
Garlic - some
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
Tamarind water - 1/3 cup
Dry red chili - 2-3
Mustard - 1 tsp
Fenugreek - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Curry leaves - a handful
Small onion - 10 sambar
Carrot chopped -
Beans chopped -
Potato chopped - 1/2 cup each
Tomato chopped - 1 large size
Jaggery - 1 tablespoon
Sambar podi - 1.5 tablespoon
Coriander leaves - a handful
Asafetida - 1/2 tsp
Ghee - as required
Cooking oil - 2 to 3 tablespoons
Salt - as needed
Water - as needed
