Jim Power (SNES)- Complete Soundtrack

Описание к видео Jim Power (SNES)- Complete Soundtrack

The full title of this game is Jim Power: The Lost Dimension in 3D. The game was published by Electro Brain, and developed by Loriciel. It is a loose port/remake of Jim Power in Mutant Planet on the Commodore Amiga; featuring new top down stages and remade boss fights, both using the rotation and scaling of Mode 7. The game came with stereoscopic Nuoptix 3-D Glasses that let you see the parallax scrolling in 3D. The story is different from the original Amiga version. It goes like this: Vaprak wants to destroy the Earth so that he can reach the vortex to the 5th dimension. If he succeeds he will open a portal for his kind and mutate all other lifeforms, due to an strange effect from his dimension. The army is too weak to fight off the numerous invaders from another dimension, so the special forces send Jim Power to slip past Vaprak's Omni-Eye Scanners so that he kill him. The soundtrack was composed by Chris Huelsbeck. All of the tracks from the original Amiga version are here. I think the soundtrack, in terms of arrangement and sound design, is quite faithful to the original version.
