Behind Bars Interview: Walter's Story | Prison Documentary

In this interview from our archive inside a maximum security juvenile prison, 18-year old Walter talked to our crew about his history in the juvenile justice system. He discussed his charge of resisting law enforcement and running away from home. He told us about issues with parents that led to his arrest for running away, and the time he spent in a treatment facility for two years. He also talked about his family history of drug use by his biological parents, his time in the foster care system, and his gang initiation into the imperial gangsters gang.

Update: There are no reports of Walter returning to the system.
