Solo Female Traveler: I brave the crowds of the Ninth Arrondissement to delve into an art and science that has long fascinated me - the art of perfume-making at the legendary French perfumer, Fragonard, and also learn a little about the history of perfume and try to create a fragrance in their workshop. Then to the beautiful Galleries Lafayette with perhaps the most beautiful stained glass domed ceiling in Paris and a spectacular, free rooftop view. Last, to a three-course meal at Brasserie Mollard where I dine in a sumptuous Belle Epoque setting.
