Tales of the Land: Ki. Rajanarayanan in Conversation with M.D. Muthukumarawamy

Ki. Rajanarayanan, or Ki. Ra. as he is popularly known, is an author and folklorist from Tamil Nadu. In this conversation with M.D. Muthukumaraswamy, Ki.Ra. travels down memory lane, recalls the health troubles in his youth, his interest in music, and association with writers like Jayakanthan, Vilathikulam Samikal, etc. He also speaks about his search for folktales, and the years he spent in Puducherry University. The 98-year old writer concludes by saying he never planned his life and that, sometimes, he himself is surprised by the course his life has taken.
