Faced with diminishing groundwater in the Central Valley, husband-and-wife duo Rebekka and Nathanael Gonzales-Siemens have used contract grazing to establish sheep silvopasture in their aging almond orchard and prep the orchard's ecology and finance for a transition to a diversified agroforestry system.
