Hiking Box Springs Mountain Park (The M Hike): The Inland Empire, Moreno Valley, CA.

Box Springs Mountain is one of the more memorable Inland Empire peaks. This is mostly due to the huge "M" that is arranged just below the summit towers. The M is visible for miles. There is more than one way to climb it. One way is to drive a back road to the upper plateau, leaving a rather easy hike the rest of the way. However, the best way is to take The "M" Hike. Hikers benefit from great views and gain the enjoyment of a challenging effort to reach the top. What a great way to wrap up a busy day!
