Subscribe to my personal channel for videos on how to study law effectively & efficiently:    / @heygarethevans   In 1949 a trust company (Vandervell Trustees ltd) was established to hold 2 million shares for V’s children. In 1957 V transferred 100,000 shares to the bank to be held on trust for him. It is these shares that are transferred to RCS and therefore these shares which are in contention to begin with i.e. does the transfer of these shares constitute a disposition? However, the option to repurchase was given to Vandervell Trustees ltd (i.e. the trustees of the other settlement from 1949) .
