جو صدائیں سن رہا ہوں مجھے بس انہیں کا غم ہے
تمہیں شعر کی پڑی ہے، مجھے "آدمی" کا غم ہے

جسے اپنے خوں سے پالا، وہ حسیں سجل اجالا
وہی قتل ہو رہا ہے، میری جاں اسی کا غم ہے

جسے رات کہہ چکا ہوں اسے صبح کیسے کہہ دوں
یہاں پاسِ لفظ کس کو؟، یہ فقط مجھ ہی کا غم ہے

میں ہوں شاعرِ زمانہ، مرا اور ہے فسانہ
تمہیں فکر اپنے گھر کی مجھے ہر گلی کا غم ہے

رخِ مفلساں پہ جالب ہیں ازل سے جس کے سائے
اسی بے بسی کا غم تھا، اسی بے بسی کا غم ہے
