Описание к видео Production Shift Schedule Changes! S Ext Major Progress! 15 July 2024 Giga Texas Update (07:35AM)

Gigafactory Texas! This is where Model Y’s, and Cyber Truck production happens and soon, the Next Generation Car!

A moody sunrise and slightly ground-foggy morning to start the work week today, but things visually improved rapidly during the time I was flying the drone and I captured a lot of interesting activity today. Progress continues to be made on t he south extension, including preparation for what may be a new Tesla Headquarters main entrance on t eh southwest corner near the Cyberpond.

In the video introduction, I talk about a change in production shifts that took place today, now Monday to Thursday from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This modifies the original Monday to Saturday production schedule and for several key reasons. These are reducing costs, efficiently using the current workforce, line maintenance, completing the move of EOL to the west side & preparing for future production of products later this year.

These changes are for both the Model Y and Cybertrucks and may last part of the rest of the year (exact length of time is unknown by me). In addition, I talk about IDRA winning the European Innovation Award for their work on the Giga Presses, 8 of which are now installed at Giga Texas.
