Hafez Street is one of the central streets of Tehran. This street is named after Iranian poet Hafez Shirazi.

This street is north-south and ends at Karim Khan Zand Street from the north and Hassan Abad Square from the south.

The northern extension of this street, after the intersection with Karim Khan Zand Street, is called Hafiz Shamli and continues to Sadr Street. The southern extension of Hafez Street is Vahdat Islami Street.


This street can be accessed from the north through Valiasr Square metro station, from the college intersection with Ferdowsi metro station, and from the south with Hassanabad metro station.
