Custom Brembo Brakes for our BMW M1000RR! | M1000RR Series Part 14

One part that has always been a pain to upgrade on the BMW M1000RRs has been the brake calipers.

On the front, you have to take an extra step to remove the dowel pins. And for the rears, it is actually not possible because of the quick wheel change setup that BMW has on the M1000RR.

Previously, the way it was done was completely converting the rear wheel setup with the S1000RR setup. So, you can change the brakes, but lose that quick change setup.

But we finally have a solution! We've got a new custom bracket so that now we can upgrade the rear calipers to the Brembo calipers without sacrificing the M1000RR quick change setup.

So what are we running specifically today? The Brembo GP4 MS in the front, and the matching Brembo P2 34 caliper in the rear.

We think the M1000RR, being the top of the line model for BMW deserves to have Brembo brakes, and now it does!
