071624 ID Parade Awards

The Pahrump Holiday Task Force presented the Independence Day Parade awards at the Valley Conference Center. The non-profit group that holds 4 events per year, also awarded plaques of appreciation to their sponsors. Chairperson Linda Wright says, that next year's parade will have some surprises in store and they plan to hold a fundraising event as well.

The Parade Grand Marshall was 95 year old Emil Janssen, owner of Pahrump Valley Mortuary, was recognized at the event.
