The "Kaiserhymne" (literally "Emperor's Hymn") refers to a national anthem used in Austria and later Germany in the 19th and early 20th centuries. It was composed by Joseph Haydn in 1797 for the Austrian Emperor Francis II. The original title was "Gott erhalte Franz den Kaiser" ("God Save Emperor Francis")
