This selection is from a concert with the Santa Maria Philharmonic Society that took place on February 27, 2016 guest conducted by Brian Asher Alhadeff. At the time of posting this video, it represents the only known recording of this brilliant 1950's symphonic arrangement of "Show Boat Highlights" written by Jerome Kern, arranged by Rosario Bourdon. While the score and set of parts are outstanding, there are many unwritten performance traditions that have been liberally added to this performance. Please share your thoughts and let me know if you need help acquiring the set of parts and score. The conductor's score is NOT a full score - piano reduction with cues.
