This is street style Peshawar Karahi gosht recipe which can be made very easily with any type of meat, I made this recipe using Beef.

Ingredients:

Hot water 1 and 1/2 litres
100 ml cooking oil
700 gms beef (or any meat of your choice)
1 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp salt
1 tsp crushed red chilli
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp crushed black pepper
500 gms tomatoes
4 whole medium green chillies
Julienne cut ginger for garnish
chopped coriander for garnish

Method:

Add oil in hot wok on high flame add meat as oil heats up and fry for 5 minutes while mixing with a spatula then add ginger and garlic and fry for another 2 to 3 minutes and now add salt, chilli, turmeric and black pepper and fry for another 5 minutes then add whole tomatoes and cover let cook on slow flame for 10 minutes uncover and remove tomato skins with a tong or fork then cover and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes and as tomatoes are done crush them and mix in the gravy with spatula and let cook covered till the meat is tender while checking every 10 to 15 minutes and as the meat starts to tenderise add whole green chillies and cover and let cook till meat is tender, if the water dries out before the meat is tender then add more hot water and if meat tenderises earlier and grave has water then cook on high flame to evaporate extra liquid.Now garnish with julienne ginger and chopped coriander and serve in Karahi.
