Introducing Penelope, the beautiful 1964 Chrysler Valiant AP5

Hi Everyone
Let me introduce to you my latest wise investment/fiscal folly (take your pick).
Just received this time capsule of a car, a 1964 Chrysler Valiant AP5 four door sedan, with three speed column shift manual and the 222 Slant Six engine.
Built at the Tonsley Park factory , this car was owned locally in South Australia, just a short drive from the factory.
Still trying to get more information about the cars life, as I bought it through an intermediary, but I do know she has been well cared for in incredible original condition.
If you are a fan of Valiants you will already know the reputation for bullet proof reliability and ease of maintenance these cars have.
Others may know of their cultural status in the Australian suburban landscape. I mean, whose family didn't have a Valiant. Ours was a great big Electricity Commission Green Safari Station Wagon.
