Hegemony Board Game: Middle Class Player Setup, General Rules, and How To Play A Round

This video will teach players how to play Hegemony, an asymmetric economic and political simulation. This video is the fourth in a series of rule videos about Hegemony: Lead Your Class to Victory. It will cover how the Middle Class Player board is set up, and go into detail with Middle Class rules as we walk through what each phase of a turn would be in the game. Other rules videos in the series will discuss general rules and playstyle of the other factions.

28:31 CORRECTION 1: (in description or pinned comment) when I discussed the impact of moving the Healthcare and Education Policies, I did not account for the fact that the Taxation Policy A had a 2x multiplier on the healthcare. So, instead of healthcare B counting for 1 on the policy table, it should have counted for 2. That means, if healthcare moved to C, it would make the tax multiplier drop 2 from 5 to 3, and if the healthcare moved to A the tax multiplier would go from 5 to 7. For Taxation A: Education and health tax multiplier is doubled. For Taxation B: Education and health tax multiplier is 1, so add whatever totals from Health and Education tracks. For Taxation C: there is no additional tax multiplier for education and health.
