Do commercial acid dyes break? Let's test out Dharma Acid dyes in Delphinium Blue, Deep Purple, Sage Leaf, Purple Pop, Avocado, Twilight Gray, and Espresso Bean.

[0:00] Introduction
1% Stock solutions are 1 g of dye / 100 mL water
We will dye 100 g of yarn for each color.
I presoaked the yarn in tap water for 20 + min
[2:06] The dyebath: 8 cups of water + 1 T white vinegar (more vinegar is added after dip dyeing as needed)
1/2 cup of the 1% stock solution of each color immediately before dip dyeing
~118 mL, ~1.2% OWG for the colors we are starting with
[3:05] Delphinium Blue
[7:20] Deep Purple
[10:49] Sage Leaf
[13:55] Purple Pop*
I would not recommend using this much purple pop per 100 g again! Takes a long time to exhaust
