The prolonged lockdown due to the second Covid-19 wave has led to shortages of supplies, especially in the villages. Essential commodities like oil, salt, sugar, soap, etc. are in short supply. Times like this teach us to come up with ingenious means and learn from the old ways of life.

In a small village in Ukhrul, we collected wild roses and tea leaves grown in the backyard and made rose flavoured green tea.
