How to travel with dogs (Air India)

What you need:

A crate for your Dog. If you are flying for the first time with your pet, please acclimatise the pet with the crate. Buy it a few weeks in advance and keep his/her treats in there so that they associate the crate as a happy place. Flying can be a strange / traumatic experience for your pet.

Mine has been flying from the time he was a 5 month old puppy and has flown short sectors only.

We have only flown Air India whenever we traveled with him in the past 3 years and he is fine and fit as a fiddle.

You need to take a xerox copy of his vaccination record and the health certificate as well.
