In this video, I continue the process of outfitting my Power Wagon truck camper build with off road recovery gear and talk about the different design elements of synthetic rope soft shackles.

I show the step-by-step process I used to build my own soft shackle using Samson's 7/16" (11mm) Amsteel Blue SK-75 Dyneema rope. I use what I believe to be the best design aspects, with two Brummel lock splices, a buried-rope mid section, a button knot, heatshrink tubing, and protective nylon sheathing.

This how-to video shows the full assembly process, including the knot formation and knot tightening procedure.
