Journal clubs: Roles and structures to make them effective

Описание к видео Journal clubs: Roles and structures to make them effective

A journal club is not uncommon. But this approach ensures greater preparation, depth of discussion and impact on various levels. Participants take a different role each time:
• chair of the meeting
• presenter, drawing out the essence and significance of the article
• discussant, offering a critique of the article.
The facilitator too adheres to a clear structure, asking questions where necessary and then, only at the end, reflecting on the contributions and proceedings.
