Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age - Easiest Trial 100 Battle

Showcasing one of the simplest strategies for beating Trial Mode Stage 100. I was hesitant to upload this simply because I love this fight and am low key frustrated at people just looking at it as a checkbox to tick on their list of "things to do" rather than just doing it because, well, they enjoy it. But then I figured whatever, for those that just want to get Platinum, or just want to start a Weak Mode run, this video is probably helpful.

Zeromus' Big Bang attack does 5 x (max HP - current HP) in damage. Naturally with Bubble and only 1 HP remaining, that's a lot. Enough, in fact, to kill Ghis, Drace and Zargabaath in a single hit and shave off more than 2/3 of Gabranth and Bergan's HP. Zeromus' max HP does depend on his summoner's level, so it might not work as smoothly at lower levels. My Basch was Level 98, as you can see in the video.

To break down what happens just a bit more, I summon Zeromus, use a Bubble Mote on him to double his max HP, then equip Nihopalaoa and use an Elixir on him to bring his HP down to 1 and instantly use Big Bang. For anyone else besides me who has the idea of using a Reverse Mote on him instead of using Nihopalaoa, don't bother, Zeromus is immune to Reverse. After the first Big Bang I recover my Mist Gauge with a non-Nihopalaoa Elixir and summon Zeromus again, repeating the process, though at this point I don't need a Bubble Mote anymore, the un-bubbled damage is enough to finish them off.

Obviously this strategy will not work in Weak Mode since Zeromus' HP will be terribly low there. But in normal mode, Big Bang is a lot more powerful than Zodiark's Final Eclipse. Instead of spamming Big Bang I also could have used Zeromus' Gravity Well on Bergan and Gabranth once and then sweeped all of them at once, but I didn't want to take a needless risk and have Zeromus die - the way I'm showing here is truly completely risk-free. All you need is a high level on the Zeromus summoner, Nihopalaoa, 1 Bubble Mote and 3 Elixirs.
