A cup of this delectable Irani Chai and a plate of bun maska is all you need for your Sunday afternoon.

IRANI CHAI

Ingredients

½ tbsp tea leaves
1½ cups milk
4 tsps sugar
Bun maska to serve

Method

1. Heat milk in a non-stick deep saucepan and let it come to boil. Reduce the heat, add sugar and mix. Cook the mixture till it thickens.
2. Heat 1½ cups water in another saucepan, add the tea leaves and let the mixture boil for 1 minute. Take the pan off the heat.
3. For serving, strain the tea mixture into individual glasses and top up with the reduced milk.
4. Serve hot with bun maska.
