Andreeva (WTA Career) – OZ Open Final – Expert EA7 - Andreeva vs Saville 6-1 6-3 (Final)

Hi all, I’m a casual gamer that mainly plays FM, but after finding this gem of a game I’ve decided to upload some TieBreak content for viewing.

I had decided to start an Andreeva career mode in the WTA, but unfortunately after winning the OZ Open I’ve encountered a whole host of bugs which means continuing the career at present is pointless.

(I lost all the prize money I invested in support staff, as this ended up removing all staff up to level 3’s moving on a game week)

Nevertheless, it’s another match in the WTA and I’m enjoying the gameplay that is present in the women’s game as there is a much greater need and ability to play a more varied and strategic game compared to the Men’s ATP which at the moment you can’t.

I had a pretty comfortable run to the final, although Kasatkina in the quarter finals I found tough to break in the first set, and I finally made that break when I was 4-5 up.

Azarenka the 6th seed in the semi’s didn’t provide much resistance which saw me come up against Saville in this OZ open final.

For the most part I played quite well, and despite Saville playing some good points, our level was good enough for most of the game to have the edge in most games.

Taking our break point opportunities and making a low number of unforced errors was key to winning this one 6-1 6-3 in the end.

It had moved me to 8th in the rankings – but given the career issues (and I’ve not even seen a press conference yet in it), I will have to wait until the full-release in the hope the bugs are cleared up for the Career Mode.
