I am not a professional remixer, DJ or technician. I'm just a fan who does these mixes out of my love and respect of the band and to bring something a bit different to other fans. With this in mind I hope you enjoy my efforts, subscribe to the channel and, most importantly, support the band and its members.


Here's one that I was actually concerned about doing. This song is a masterpiece in its own right and I wasn't sure how to go about giving it the modification treatment. Should I extend it? Make a longer 12" version? I decided against that, but this version is slightly longer than the original album version.

There's actually quite a lot going on with this mix. I powered up the drums, bass and some of the synths but not to the point where they would be intrusive. I also gave Midge's vocals a bit of treatment too.

This is how I decided to leave it as I didn't want to continue adding stuff and spoiling the essence of the song.

I'll apologise to Colin now as I know it's not one of his favourite Ultravox songs (he actually hates it)!

I've added a wink to Live Aid in this mix. There aren't any prizes, but can you find it? it's quite prominent and not hidden down low in the mix.

Anyhow, as always, I hope you like my efforts and enjoy this version of an Ultravox classic.
