Repairing a Broken Basket Border

Isn't it annoying when your favourite basket breaks, usually its the top that gets brittle and breaks off in places. The good news is you don't have to throw it away. If you come on a basket weaving day you will learn how to make a fancy three-rod wale border. Check out this video below to see how you can repair a broken basket. I made this video when I realised one of the tipis here had a broken log basket and guests were due in that evening! Thankfully it only took twenty minutes to repair it and guests were none the wiser their pretty basket had been in bits earlier.
