How To Make The Mojito - Booze On The Rocks

Today on Booze On The Rocks we are looking at the Classic Mojito. Its history and How To Make it!

** EDIT** This drink actually belongs to the julep family.

Mojito

INGREDIENTS

8-12 mint leaves
4 Lime wedges
2 oz/30 ml White Rum
3/4 oz/22ml Fresh Lime Juice
1/2 oz/15ml Simple Syrup
Top with club soda
Mint Sprig

METHOD

1. Spank the mint
2. Muddle the limes and the Mint gently in the glass.
3. Half fill with crushed ice, then stir in an upward motion
4. Add rum and simple syrup and lime juice.
5. Add more ice top with club soda.
6. Garnish with mint sprig
