How do we see? What factors influence a procedure that we take for granted? When we are born, do we know how to see or we learn it as we grow up? How our experiences, the meaning we give to every picture, social factors and expectations influence the way we see? He was born in Athens in 1973. He is an optometrist. Since 1998 he is a member of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF). He is also a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development (COVD) and the Neuro Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA). In 2002 he was awarded the Washington D.C. the first Kraskin Prize and in 2004 he was awarded to be among the Who's Who of health professionals. His articles have been published in Greek and foreign journals and he is a member of two peer review boards of international scientific journals. In 2016, with 20 years of experience he creates the Optometria.gr and up to date, he provides his services in the field of vision restoration and correction while coordinating a team of external partners that surround him. He remains a scientific consultant at a large ophthalmic company and at the same time works as a consultant in private rehabilitation centers for people with neuromotor and developmental disorders, enhancing and complementing treatment programs in Greece and Cyprus.
