Bayonet vs Spadroon Sparring

Friendly sparring bouts initially between Nick (Blue) vs Mike (Red), and then Nick (Blue) vs Malcolm (Black). The spadroon used is matched to period examples of the 1796 regulation infantry officer and NCO sword, and is of roughly typical specification. The bayonet trainer is about half the weight of a period musket and bayonet (about 2.6kg), which seems to be about a happy medium between realism and safety. Both training weapons are by Black Fencer (Spain). It was also shot after weekend event and sparring fatigue of that day.

Nick's blue jacket is a test product of a new jacket by Superior Fencing (We've not moved away from red!).
