The second day of our trip, and also second day of Eid-ul-Fitr, we went to explore kachura valley and soq valley.
Lower Kachura lake, also known as shangrila lake is 30 minutes from skardu intl. airport.
When you go to upper kachura from lower kachura, there is a road at midpoint, which goes up towards soq valley. We went explore soq valley first.
Safari resort is situated in soq valley and it is a hidden gem, excellent and peaceful place to stay.
We went to upper kachura where we did boating. On the other side of the lake, there is a mini beach to spend quality time.
We had trout fish in upper kachura, which was excellent.
