NEW UPDATE! ABOUT ZHONGLI, QIQI And CHONGYUN CHARACTER OUTFITS IN 5.4 - Genshin Impact

Skins, something almost every player forgot about i bet. Well in this video, we will talk about when to expect new skins and also speculate on the characters who might get a skin in the upcoming version 5.4. i will also explain why we're getting new skins in version 5.4.

In the past, we've noticed a pattern with versions 0.4 and 0.8 where skins are typically released, both free ones and paid ones. This tradition began with version 1.6 when we received skins for Jean and Barbara. You might be wondering why we got a free skin in version 1.6 when I mentioned only 0.4 and 0.8 versions. The reason for this exception was that version 1.6 marked the end of the Mondstadt and Liyue patches. Therefore, version 1.6 is equivalent to version 1.8 since region patches typically end on 0.8 versions. Following this pattern, in version 2.4, we got skins for keching and Ningguang, in 2.8 for Diluc and Fischl, in 3.4 for Ayaka and Lisa, in 3.8 for Kaeya and Klee, in 4.4, we received skins for Ganyu, Shenhe, and Xingqiu and most recently in version 4.8, we received skins for Kirara and Nilou.

You can see the consistent pattern that miHoYo follows with these releases. So, in version 5.4 we're definitely getting new skins, both paid and free ones. Now that we're sure about that, another question arises: "Which characters will be getting skins in version 5.4?"

In version 4.2, leakers were saying we would soon see skins for Zhongli, Qiqi and Chongyun because mihoyo were working on them. However, as we moved forward to Version 4.4, there were no signs of these skins, i was wondering if the rumors were inaccurate or if the skins had been delayed for some reason. And by the time Version 4.8 came around, it became pretty clear that the leak about the skins still weren't part of Mihoyo's plans, at least not publicly.

But this doesn’t mean the leak was entirely false. Mihoyo has a pattern of releasing new skins in versions that end in .4 or .8, and it’s possible that the development of these skins took longer than expected. If the leaks were based on real information, then it's reasonable to speculate that we could see Zhongli, Qiqi, and Chongyun skins sometime in the near future, potentially in an upcoming version like 5.4 or later.

But honestly, the best time Mihoyo could release these Liyue character skins would be during the Lantern Rite event. It’s the perfect moment to showcase skins for Zhongli, Qiqi, and Chongyun since the event celebrates Liyue, making it an ideal time for new outfits tied to the region's characters. but i don't think they would do that to be honest. Mihoyo followed this pattern ever since the start of the game, so i don't think they would break it, unless mihoyo actually breaks it... i guess. we’ve seen Mihoyo break their patterns multiple times. So there’s a chance they could throw a curveball and release these skins earlier, perhaps in Version 5.3 instead of 5.4.

But if we are indeed getting a skin for Zhongli in Version 5.4, it would also make sense for Mihoyo to time this with a Zhongli rerun. So we could see a zhongli rerun in 5.4 if the leaks about zhongli getting a skin were accurate.
