Goodbye ArcheAge...

Hello everyone, here is some more ArcheAge Unchained gameplay in 2020, just before the Garden of the Gods update.

This is also the final video in the Extra Footage series. I didn't think I'd end it on unlucky 13, but I've decided to quit playing ArcheAge due to the recent Gamigo/Garden incident. I don't want to get into it here since it's kind of long, but full reasoning can be found in link below if you're interested:

Anyways, while that's the decision I made for myself due to my history with the game, it should be noted that this change doesn't mean you should stay away from AAU.

ArcheAge Unchained is still a good game and the most accessible version of ArcheAge in years. The DLC change doesn't really impact new/returning players in a big way, it's a minor inconvenience at best. And while players are rightfully concerned about the impact fresh-starts have on their servers, a fresh-start is a good entry point for someone new to the game. The Garden update also brings about a lot of new content and the next major update in KR could hold more interesting signs for the future.

As for the Environment Mod, it might not need an update with the Garden patch. But if it does, I will update it since I don't necessarily need to "play" ArcheAge to maintain that.

Aside from the Environment Mod, I'm not sure what'll happen with this channel. Hopefully, I can come back in the future and continue making content. But until then, thank you all for watching my videos and I hope that they've entertained you at least a little.
