Ketamine Therapy Session Sustained Eye Contact & Transference | Psychedelic Somatic Institute

This PSI training session involves a student using 100 mg of ketamine and a series of interventions (sustained eye contact being one of them) that evoke the layer of relational wounding that is so common in the complex PTSD population.

Relational wounding is reliably expressed through negative transference projected onto the therapist. The client experiences the negative transference through a variety of somatic and relational channels: they may involuntarily see the therapist's face as menacing, or they may experience the therapist as emotionally distant, uncaring or hostile. They may have negative beliefs about how the therapist sees and feels about them.

It is possible to reliably and methodically target non-verbal attachment wounding through these PSIP interventions combined with a variety of psychedelic medicines.
