Colour Theory in Practice: Are Limited Colour Palettes Faster? [How I Paint Things]

Описание к видео Colour Theory in Practice: Are Limited Colour Palettes Faster? [How I Paint Things]

Well, rather than keep you in suspense with the title: I think they are! Painting this Valor Korps trooper took me less than an hour overall, and that's including time spent highlighting. The end result looks striking and as part of an army would look great on the tabletop - easily achieved by deliberately keeping to a narrow set of colour choices which are harmonious with one another, according to the colour wheel.

Make sure and check out some other sources on colour theory! It's a fascinating subject whether or not you're painting miniatures, but for those of us that're putting armies on the table it can really help to jump start some thinking on what colour choices should work together when we apply them to our figures.
