Chopin: Nocturne Op. 27 No. 2 (3 Years/30k subs/2020)

This video is to celebrate 30k subs and 3 years of learning the piano. Thank you so much for supporting my channel! I don't post enough, but I seriously appreciate you guys all the same.

This is likely the final video I will ever reference how long I've been playing for. I don't like labelling myself as an 'adult learner pianist of x years', but it felt appropriate to have this video be a sort of joint 30k milestone/3 years progress marker.

The moment I heard this nocturne from Chopin, I knew it would be a bucket list piece. This piece just encapsulates what the piano and music making is all about to me. Music that touches the heart. I hope that comes through in my playing.

I'm still kicking myself as I didn't capture the audio through my portable recorder on this take. Forgot to press the record button a second time, and this happened to be the best take! :'( oh well. Peace.
