Boating places of interest on lough Erne / The Lough Erne Resort

When you go boating on Lough Erne there are so many places of interest you really are spoilt for choice. In this episode we decide to visit The Lough Erne Golf Resort or simply the Lough Erne Resort if you prefer. We stop off have a look around and have a bit of lunch too.

Ireland's Lough Erne resort is quite an upmarket place, (don't arrive in your wellies!) that said it is a nice place to wind down even if like us you don't play golf. The resort is set in a beautiful location, being in the centre of lough Erne. There really is so much to see here. It's also only a few minutes from Enniskillen by car. The food was really nice, although it resembled a work of art rather than a meal. I suppose it could be described a quality over quantity, but after a day on the boat I like to have both! Marion had the salmon while I had the seafood chowder. All served in lovely surroundings and by very professional and friendly staff.
