Slottets Herre - original composition

Hello!

A brief description: this is my first original composition, hope you enjoy!

A much longer description for anyone interested: this is, again, my first original composition - ever! I've wanted to compose my own music for years but I've never, until now, finished a composition I started. So I decided to not give up until I had finished this composition, whether I was fully satisfied with it or not. And it just so happens that I'm actually quite satisfied. It could have been improved with more time but something I've learned from composing this is that it's very VERY easy to overthink. In theory I could've made it much better, maybe even added violin to it (not that I can play it well), but with the little amount of previous experience I had, this was enough.

As for the playing itself, I made a few mistakes here and there, which as usual could've been prevented with more practice (I'm too lazy).

The translation of "Slottets Herre" (Swedish) would probably be Lord of the Castle. I had to put a name on it and went with this name because I kind of thought this composition could act as a theme for an evil lord of some castle in a story/movie/game or whatever. It may sound silly, but that's sort of where I wanted to go with this composition!

I've taken inspiration from some classical composers as well as a theme from some Resident Evil game, but the composition is to my knowledge completely original.

Oh and excuse the sweaty armpits haha, once I start a project like this I get absolutely obsessed with finishing it so I haven't showered for two days. Gross, I know. But now I can finally become a functional individual again when I'm done with it!

My next objective with my channel will be to get a better microphone, continue to compose and upload better quality videos. BUT, this will take time, and I'm not planning on releasing something for a good while ahead, since I want to take some time focusing on other matters.
