WWF Badd Blood: In Your House took place on October 5th 1997. The first ever Hell in a Cell match took place at the event with The Undertaker battling Shawn Michaels. A big surprise debut ended the show and things would never be the same for the WWF's phenom following the Cell match.

Elsewhere on the card WWF Champion Bret "Hitman" Hart teamed up with Hart Foundation member The British Bulldog to face Vader and The Patriot. This match was contested as a Flag Match although pinfalls and submissions were also added to the rules. The Legion of Doom vs The Nation opened up Badd Blood, and Stone Cold Steve Austin also appeared during the IC Title Tournament Finals match between Owen Hart and Faarooq.

In Your House: Badd Blood is remembered for the debuts of both the Hell in a Cell match and a ghost from The Undertaker's past. The final half hour of Badd Blood is some of the best TV the WWF ever produced in 1997.
