Die Alpspitz-Kombibahn 1 in Nesselwang (4/8-CGD - Doppelmayr) am 24.10.2017

Die Alpspitz-Kombibahn 1 bildet heute die erste Sektion der Seilbahnverbindung von Nesselwang aus hinauf zum Alpspitz. Die im Jahr 2006 von der Firma Doppelmayr gebaute Bahn ersetzte seinerzeit den alten, etwas weiter westlich verlaufenden 1er Sessellift der Firma Heuss (Baujahr 1950). Dieser wurde jedoch nicht komplett abgebaut, sondern ist noch heute, in etwas verkürzter Form noch als Zubringer zur Sommerrodelbahn in Betrieb, da diese von der heutigen Mittelstation der Kombibahn nur über einen langen Fußweg zu erreichen wäre.

Die neue Bahn ist 1256 Meter lang und überwindet einen Höhenunterschied von 282 Metern. Die Talstation befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 911 Metern, die Mittelstation auf 1209 Metern. Da die Alpspitz-Kombibahn 1 von der Alpspitz-Kombibahn 2 räumlich völlig abgetrennt ist, besteht kein Durchfahrbetrieb bis zur Bergstation. Somit muss auf dem Plateau bei der Mittelstation ein kurzer Fußweg bis zur nächsten Sektion zurückgelegt werden.

Insgesamt liegen 10 Stützen auf dem Weg bis zur Mittelstation, wobei die Stütze 1 als Niederhalter und die Stützen 6 und 9 als Wechsellaststützen konstruiert sind. Als Betriebsmittel kommen 8er Gondeln und 4er Sessel, die immer im Wechsel verkehren. Die geräumigen 8er Gondeln wurden von der Firma CWA hergestellt und gehören zum Typ Omega IV-8. Die 4er Sessel mit roter Kunstlederpolsterung wurden von Doppelmayr herstellt.

Die Alpspitz-Kombibahn ist auch kostenlos mit der KönigsCard nutzbar, einschließlich einer Auffahrt mit dem 1er Sessellift und anschließender Fahrt mit der Sommerrodelbahn.


The Alpspitz-Kombibahn 1 today forms the first section of the cable car connection from Nesselwang up to Alpspitz. The cableway built in 2006 by Doppelmayr replaced at that time the old, somewhat further west running 1-seater chairlift built by Heuss in 1950. However, this was not completely dismantled, it is still today, but shortened as a feeder to the summer toboggan run in operation, since this would be reached from the current middle station of the Kombibahn only over a long walk.

The new cableway is 1256 meters long and overcomes a height difference of 282 meters. The valley station is at an altitude of 911 meters, the middle station at 1209 meters. Since the Alpspitz combined lift 1 is completely separated from the Alpspitz combined lift 2, there is no passage through to the mountain station. Thus, on the plateau at the middle station a short walk to the next section must be covered.

A total of 10 supports are on the way to the middle station, with the pillar 1 constructed as a hold-down and the supports 6 and 9 as alternating load supports. The equipment is 8-seater gondolas and 4-seater chairs, which always alternate. The spacious 8-seater gondolas were manufactured by CWA and belong to the type Omega IV-8. The 4-seat armchairs with red imitation leather upholstery were manufactured by Doppelmayr.

The Alpspitz-Kombibahn can also be used free of charge with the KönigsCard, including a driveway with the 1-person chairlift and subsequent ride on the summer toboggan run.
